Hello & welcome! I started As Things Bloom with the goal to bring eco-conscious and hands-on gardening care to the outdoor spaces of Central Illinois. What began as a personal commitment to working with nature & restoration grew into a business built on pioneer practices, chemical-free methods, & non-invasive approaches. I believe healthy landscapes don’t come from control, but from understanding, patience, & intentional care.

We believe that gardening is for everyone. We’ve helped people of many backgrounds/property types obtain their own garden spaces, grow their own food, or simply create their own plant paradise. We focus on being accessible and affordable in hopes to provide more growing space for everyone!
conservation efforts matter.
We take pride in our conservative morals and eco-friendly practices. We heavily recycle products, find homes for unwanted plants/products, remove invasive and harmful species, reintroduce native species, and help educate our customers on what they can do in their outdoor spaces to provide for
their local environment.
Because of this, As Things Bloom is able to offer low-cost services, as well as donated resources, labor, & supplies to families or organizations in need of help. We built a plant, landscape material, and pot recycling program so we can donate directly to our community too.
